Summer and neon's

Hi Everyone!! Hope you are having a fabulous week.

Lately neon's had been in fashion be it yellow or orange, they always looked nice and bright but felt out of my league so this time I went out of my comfort zone and tried this beautiful neon orange maxi skirt and did I mention it has pockets (I love when dresses and skirts have pockets atleast I can keep my phone ;) ) I know I know its a long piece of neon but it is beautiful and not to forget comfortable.

Since I did wanted to highlight this skirt I added a subtle white print tee(and surprise surprise its only $5) and a traditional chunky neckpiece with bright lips. Kept it simple and adorable.

Its getting difficult day by day to take pics with a toddler as half of the time we have to run behind him, and now as I see him and shoot his pictures everyday I have realized he has grown so much and so soon. He is no more a baby he is a big boy now who loves to repeat all what we say.

Quick Easy and comfortable

We generally do an outing on Saturday's to enjoy with Mr.V and this weekend we went to Happy Hollow Park and Zoo. We left early to enjoy the whole day at the Zoo so this is what I decided to go for quick and comfortable look.

A simple tank and jeans with cute comfiest gladiators. The tank is of a beautiful soft silky material, which is so good for these hot temperatures, I paired it with a loose double fold jeans. Ahh and the best were these amazing beautiful gladiators which were so comfortable to run behind my toddler the whole day.
Seriously he never wanted to leave the Zoo( we were asked to leave the zoo as it was closing time ;) ).

Weekend in Japan Town!!

This past weekend we decided to stroll through Japan Town San Francisco.
This place is not as extensive as China town but is good a shopping mall of all Japanese products, food et all.

After the 1906 Earthquake many Japanese and Japanese Americans relocated to the area where you see SF Japantown today. WWII broke out and 120,000 Japanese Americans were ordered to pack up and leave. They were sent to 10 relocation camps. After the war, the neighborhood changed to reflect the more dispersed character of the postwar community, from Nihonjin Machi to Nihonmachi, or “Japantown.” Urban renewal or “Redevelopment” resulted in the displacement of thousands of established residents. Scores of businesses closed, stately Victorians and other structures were moved or destroyed. 30 blocks of Nihonmachi was reduced to less than 10 blocks.
The 1960’s brought the Japan Cultural and Trade Center which is now called Japan Center mall. This 5 acre property houses specialty shops and restaurants. SF Japantown is one of only three Japantowns remaining in the U.S. today.

This top is so beautiful Popsicle print and not to mention pure cotton. Love the look and feel. My skin is very sensitive so I am very cautious about the clothes I buy and this one is the best 😊.

Just couldn't let go this beautiful wall...

I do not think she likes me bringing her in frame!! Oops sorry...

He loved running behind pigeons and poor pigeons got scared and ran away ;)

Their crepes are yummiest tasty and you just cannot eat only one!! Plus Japanese sweets are very less on sweeter side which is what I like, infact their icecream had taste rather than just being sweet.

On a side note since was in town and near to the very famed DOSA restaurant decided to try it.. hmmm it was fine nothing that great apart from the ambience but it on a bit expensive side. Nevertheless a good try!!

Ruffles and a pop of Red!!

I always used to shy away from lipstick when you have very sensitive skin the chemicals from these lipsticks just made my lips chappy.
After multiple attempts over the years I have derived a way that makes my lips happy (doing the happy dance).

I decided to do this post earlier but Mr.Simplyxstylish caught a bug last week and passed it on to me so was sick over the weekend :(, long weekend plans were doomed(sob sob..)

This is a very basic and simple combination I did on account of America's Independence Day celebration which was on 4th of July.

I immediately fell in love with this ruffle top as my eyes laid on it, its a very simple but versatile one. I can think of so many ways it can be paired and you will be seeing many of them here on the blog!! This time paired it simple with blue jeans and red lips.

Added a zing with this gorgeous thread pearl neckpiece bought from a small shop in India. This neckpiece adds a glam to the whole look. Not to forget these comfiest wedges, though I already have a decent height these wedges takes me to a new level, they look and feel the best.

Hope you like it.
