Love yourself and your maxi!!

Hello Friends,

Today I just want to bring out my thought's on the changes my body has gone though.
I have never been perfect and will never be. I hated mirror's and fitted dresses because it always showed my flaws( or should I say flabs), then I gave not food but looking at mirror, started wearing bigger clothes which made  things worse.

Then there were comparison, analysis and too much free advice, to my shock nothing worked.Then came a challenge which changed my life. The challenge to keep myself fit for me and not worry about weight!! And TaDa after one baby and freaking work-house-and toddler life balance I still manage to do a decent body, but the best part is I Love MYSELF!!

Now talking about this beautiful Maxi, it has gorgeous cut and not to forget the neckline!! It's just so amazing and even with my flaws I feel so confident wearing it. And who does not like $17.

Pom-Poms and palazo's

Hello hello everyone!!

Pom-poms have now come in every thing this year, from earrings to shoes so why should we miss the cold shoulder top. For me comfort is everything, as if I am not comfortable in what I wear I can never look great!! Self confidence is the key.

So when I mixed together pom-poms and comfort I created color magic!!

Mirror mirror on my shoe!!

Hello everyone!!
Today I bring to you a very special post, special because it about a footwear I have always adored and worn since childhood. I am not a high heel or blingy blingy person so my natural attraction is towards flats and who says no to gorgeous embroidered and colorful jutti's/mojri's. It's a traditional North-Indian slip-on's going steady from generations.

These are so freely available in India but not in other parts of the world, so bringing you the brand which is helping people in America and Canada get a glimpse and enjoy the world of  Mojri's.

So here I am- Introducing you to Mochiis, a brand which just opened but conquered the hearts of everyone before their launch. They have such beautiful traditional and modern prints and handwork juttis that I just want to order all of them.

I have always seen people have misconception of wearing traditional footwear only with traditional attire, but that's not true.So here I am presenting you a new look!!

Summer stripes and flowers

Well hello summer!!

Though it came very late this year but it's here and I can finally wear skirts atleast during daytime(night's are still so cold :( ) I am fond of midi skirts and when I was looking for a new one found this gorgeous piece which has everything. It is a stripes, floral skirt in perfect color and length.

I don't like complicated combinations as it tends not to focus anywhere and looses the charm, so I just paired it simple with a cute high neck mesh crop top (well its a stretch blouse, a bargain buy) and simple flats.

Maxi Love

I am a comfort lover and would never compromise it for anything. I get this comfort from maxi's and this doubles as a mom-uniform too ( Dance emoji ;) ) When I was in India I shopped lovely prints in my comfort attire and nothing beats street shopping :)

Well I paired it with these gorgeous danglers and a big smile!!

Summer time

Hello Everyone!! I know its long time no see, but know here I am with all the glitz and glam.
Recently I have been to India and was lucky enough to go some shopping in this scorching heat with a kid ;) but since I cant miss shopping I managed to do some from everywhere.

Its summers and nothing can beat the heat along with being fashionable is a flowy maxi dress especially if it has gorgeous print. I wore this for Mother's day and had a quick PDA session with my kid, as we are furniture shopping and weekends is the best time we can do so.

To this fun print maxi I added oomph with red lips and red cute heels(which I scored for $30!! yeah)

Sparkly time!!

Christmas and New year's are just round the corner, these are the most awaited holidays which bring families and relatives together along with having multiple Christmas parties we all look forward to New Year's eve too.
So here am I bringing out some sparkle in your dressing up for the Christmas party!!
This dress is an old one but a keeper, I paired it up with simple and classic black heels and a black cropped sweater and silver cuff.

The holiday bling and wine!!

December is the last and the beast month of the year. Its so sparkly and festive outside with beautiful decorations and lights than it brightens up the darkness this cold weather brings, plus its holidays season, you yay yay yay (insert dance emoji.

Winter's make me sick and very hard to recover as I get sick in circles, I had to do this shoot when I was sick so was some what uncomfortable but still rocked the look, hope you like it!!

I am loving the wine color this summer so much that all I can see and have is wine ;)
No party is over without a perfect outfit, so I am bringing you one of the many party looks, this is a semi casual party look but can be glammed up with heels and a good clutch.
Lace has been in fashion everytime, I saw my mother wearing lace and now me too, hopefully younger generation too wear it, its a timeless fabric.

The peacock dress

It has been raining every weekend and it is difficult to go out of house to shoot as Mr.V is under the weather and with very limited light and space.
Now getting to the dress, I have mostly seen and owned solid colored dresses and seeing this beautiful peacock dress and superb bell sleeves, no one can say no to these sleeves :)  And who can beat the price

And who does not love boots especially in this cold weather I need to keep my feet warm.

Orange is the new black!!

Since its fall and winters to start I am preparing for all the party and fancy dinner season coming. Winter's mostly are to love and appreciate dark colors the basic reason scientifically is "Dark colors attract more heat" So we wear light and bright clothes in summer and dark clothes in winters.

I am not an Orange kind of a girl, but when I saw this dress on stand in Banana Republic I was smitten over by how simple and classy it is. This piece is a bodycon and I was not very sure of how will it fit me and I always shy away from bodycon's, but to my surprise it did fit good and that too without spandex ;)

My dark side!!

Most of us think Maxi dresses are only for summer but that not true, maxis with proper layering can be worn during fall.
I bought this maxi a while ago and since then it has been so bright and sunny in Cali that I could not wear it. And then finally it rained and I wore it.
