Fall mint

When fall is babying its steps all I can see is fall leaves, pumpkins and red leaves. While this is going in my mind I pick up the brighter yellow and mint to pair. This is a perfect combination with a little sheer and yellow leaves which indicates the very beginning of fall.
This mint sheer top is a dream, the perfect cut on the chest and back makes it deal for skirts, jeans or any pairing and as it gets colder can pair it with a bomber or blazer. This skirt has the perfect fall leaves and the perfect length.

 

End of Summer shorts

 Its still hot here is Cali, was a scorching 100 degree - sizzling hot this past weekend so I paused with my fall clothing and wore these beautiful pastel blue colored shorts paired with bright pink causal top.

Dancing in summer!!

Officially today is the last day of summer but living n California gives the added benefit of enjoying summer till mid-october. So getting in some of my last summer looks before darkness invades Sun.

If you read my last blog you know my mother was here and my sister sent some gorgeous clothes from India and this top is one of it, it is so versatile and has a cute flower and another one ;)

I paired it with a simple pleated skirt and they felt like a match made in heaven. So here is my perfect pair!!

Indo-Western

Mom was visiting us and she brought in some of her fabulous indo-western outfits. This pop of color stuck my eye and as you know mom's never stop giving she offered me her pallazo/culottes from her outfit.Thanks Mom!!

Paired it with a simple crop top was all I did. Indeed it is a very simple combination and many of you might have done, but we always end up looking for new pieces to do so, why not dig you own closet to make new outfits that you will always love to wear without burning a hole in your wallet.

So here I present my simple look!!

For a very long time I was planning to cut my love locks but was sceptical as had no idea if it will suit me and if it wont it will take months to grow them back. So after lots of convincing from Mr.Simplyxstylish and googling around I decided to go for it.

From summer to Fall off-shoulder

This off shoulder trend is here to stay even for fall. It has and will be loved by everyone, so here is my transitional outfit for last few summer days and for fall.

I am hating that summer is coming to an end, I mean why not who does not like bright beautiful days plus all the beautiful outfits you can wear in summer. I am going to miss you sun ;)

Hawaiian style

On our vacation in Hawaii, this time we decided to be Hawaiian. I planned for a men's matching shirts for a photo session but when we started checking out the stores I found my matching dress too, and me and Mr.Simplyxstylish decided we are going to have a family Hawaiian theme session.

Beach Blue!!

On my recent vacation had very many beachy days, so fun but so tiring too plus with water baby it difficult to come out of water even if I want too.
So after a day of snorkeling at Kanapalli beach, Maui I decided to just throw this simple midi so hot and humid rest of my day. Comfort was my need which this dress gave along with style.

Summer Maxi

Last month we took a vacation at Maui and what a great break it was. Everyday routine is good but after a stretch it is exhausting so we packed our bag and stood at the airport ;)
To tell you the truth it we had to plan for our toddler because staying at hotels with no access to kitchen is a nightmare as Mr.V is still learning to eat all what we eat plus he is not fond of eating hotel food :( All that in another post.

Flower's on my skirt!!

Who does not love flowers especially when it on such a gorgeous dress!!
Past weekend I was visiting Penn state to attend my little brother's graduation ceremony, and I was awestruck at how beautiful it is. Lush green trees and open grounds everywhere. In Cali, it has recently become so crowded that all I see is buildings and new construction :(

Something off-shoulder

Well I am trying to get out of my comfort zone and try some new colors and styles. Even though I am a bit late in the bandwagon of off-shoulder dress it's better late than never ;)
This time its green off-shoulder top that I have tried when I was vacationing in Hawaii. I tend to wear weather suitable and comfortable clothes during vacation as it makes me feel relaxed and in this hot Hawaiian weather it was very much needed.

This top is a steal, got it only for $8 :). Kept it simple with my harem pants for dinner on a cool breezy evening.

Life on the beach is fantastic esp when you have a water loving kid, along with that great is the food. On a side note: what a difference water makes in terms of taste of food. Even the simple food tasted so good I was longing for more(and I am not a foodie).

We tried this amazing place "Coconut Fish Cafe" in Maui and it is has indescribable fish tacos with mango chunks sprinkled on top, the best ones in Maui. My kid who never tasted fish had it and had all my fish pieces from the tacos :(

Summer and neon's

Hi Everyone!! Hope you are having a fabulous week.

Lately neon's had been in fashion be it yellow or orange, they always looked nice and bright but felt out of my league so this time I went out of my comfort zone and tried this beautiful neon orange maxi skirt and did I mention it has pockets (I love when dresses and skirts have pockets atleast I can keep my phone ;) ) I know I know its a long piece of neon but it is beautiful and not to forget comfortable.

Since I did wanted to highlight this skirt I added a subtle white print tee(and surprise surprise its only $5) and a traditional chunky neckpiece with bright lips. Kept it simple and adorable.

Its getting difficult day by day to take pics with a toddler as half of the time we have to run behind him, and now as I see him and shoot his pictures everyday I have realized he has grown so much and so soon. He is no more a baby he is a big boy now who loves to repeat all what we say.
